This page explains what happens when you join our launch list: what we collect, why, and how to stop hearing from us. If anything here is unclear, get in touch — see Contact, below.

What we collect

When you join the launch list, we store your email address, which page or section you signed up from (for example the homepage or the Packs page), the edition you signed up for (Blurred Lines or Blurped Lines), and the date and time. We do not ask for your name or any other personal detail on this form.

We also keep a one-way, salted cryptographic hash of the network address used to submit the form — never the address itself — for a few minutes, only to stop the form being spammed by automated scripts. It cannot be used to identify you.

Why we collect it

To send you one email: notice that the Blurred Lines Kickstarter campaign has launched. We do not use your email address for anything else, and we do not sell or share it beyond what's described under "Who processes it", below.

Lawful basis and consent

How to unsubscribe

Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. You can also write to us at any time (see Contact, below) and we will remove your address.

How long we keep it

Who processes it

Your information is stored on our own server. We also use Kit, a third-party email service, to send the launch notification — your email address, sign-up source and edition are shared with Kit for that purpose only.

International transfers

Your rights

If you're in the UK or the EU, you generally have rights over information we hold about you, including to access it, correct it, have it deleted, and object to how it's used, as well as the right to complain to your data protection authority (the ICO, in the UK).
